Growing up as a native East coast PA girl, I knew next to nothing about Oregon. I never even heard of the term “Pacific North West” until I started traveling full time. Yikes, how sheltered is that?

When I started researching it, I was excited to see waterfalls and rivers, but I still didn’t know what to expect. It turned out to be one of my all time favorite states and I still think about it often.

You can’t really prepare yourself for how beautiful and lush it is, because there aren’t many places like it. All I can say, is that I was blown away by it’s beauty and most importantly, how it made me feel. It’s like stepping into a fantasy novel about fairies and leprechauns at the end of a rainbow.
